The candidates for Miss Jalisco Del Sur de California will be dazzling the Terrace Theater/Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 10th, 2010. The show is a presentation of La Federacion de Clubes - Jaliscienses.
This year's festival features a lively ensemble of beauty, creativity, and Jaliscan pride that is sure to be a treat for all. The regional dress competition features 12 contestants who will present attire that reflects the culture of each region they represent. Performing alongside the contestants will be premier Los Angeles mariachi group, Mariachi Monumental de America de Juan Jose Almaguer. Applauded for their impressive musicianship and brilliant interpretation of the cultural music, Mariachi Monumental de América promises to deliver an intense musical entertainment experience.
"Long Beach is an eclectic and multicultural city, making it the ideal setting for a festival such as Miss Jalisco," said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center. "We are pleased to welcome Miss Jalisco back to the Long Beach Performing Arts Center," he added.
